Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mari Elka Pangestu, invite investors from home and abroad to invest in the tourist areas in Indonesia.
Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will work with BKPM and other agencies to hold Indonesia Tourism Investment Day (ITID) 2012 and invited the CEO, a property developer in Indonesia tourism, Chamber of Commerce, as well as investors from ASEAN countries, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore , Thailand, UAE, United Kingdom, and the United States.
According to him, as it would be an effective way to improve the quality of tourists because of the presence of the tourist area it will be a lot of attraction they can visit.
Until September 2012, the realization of investments for Foreign Investment in Indonesia’s tourism sector has reached Rp6, 9 trillion, or nearly double the 2011 value is higher than Rp2, 422 trillion.
As for Domestic Capital Investment (DCI) to September 2012 amounting to Rp860 billion increase over last year’s total of Rp394, 2 billion.
