The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will hold Taiwan Expo 2017 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on May 12-14, 2017 with the theme “Where Technology Meets Modern Lifestyles” to experience the latest high-tech and lifestyle products from Taiwan.
Previously Indonesia and Taiwan signed several Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen the relationship, represented by KADIN Indonesia and Taiwanese business community. Now the relationship is realized through the Taiwan Expo 2017 in Indonesia.
“This is a follow up of Taiwan Indonesia Collaboration Summit (TIICS) in March 2017 attended by KADIN Indonesia,” said Rini Lestari, Vice Chairman of KADIN Indonesia Taiwan Committee, to the media on Wednesday (5/10).
Rini also said that the Taiwan Expo is expected to make Indonesian people more familiar with the products from Taiwan and enhance mutual cooperation in economy and trade as well as regional relations.
“Taiwan Expo 2017 has been designed in thematic with a number of pavilions to showcase a unique combination of products between Taiwan’s lifestyle and high-tech industries, most likely will be enjoyed by the people of Indonesia,” Rini added.
Sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, the exhibition will feature 7 thematic pavilions. About 140 exhibitors from Taiwan will display their latest products, and provide the best opportunity for Indonesians to experience Taiwan in various aspects.
