When Jababeka Chairman S.D. Darmono Surprised by Lemhannas Governor with Birthday Cake April 26, 2017

There was an interesting incident on the birthday of Founder as well as Chairman of Jababeka S.D. Darmono, at the Building of National Defense Institute (Lemhannas) on Wednesday (26/4).

Darmono, who is also the Chairman of President Executive Club (PEC), was surprised when a birthday cake complete with candle was presented by his host Lt. Gen. (ret.) Agus Widjojo as Governor of Lemhannas.

In his surprise, Darmono did not cease to thank Governor Agus and his staff. After blowing the candle, Darmono cut and distributed the cake to Prof. Anton Muscatelli, Prof. Budi Susilo Soepandji and lastly to Governor Agus.

The surprise was held just before the lunch session as part of a special lecture by Prof. Anton Muscatelli as Principal and Vice-Chancellor from Glasgow University Scotland.

Prof. Anton Muscatelli became a speaker in Lemhannas with the theme “Global, Geopolitical and Macroeconomics Issues”. It was attended by 50 participants from the 56th class of Lemhannas, officials and staff of Lemhannas, entrepreneurs as well as academics from the President University.

The event was held in cooperation between Lemhannas, President Executive Club and President University.

At present also in the event were Governor of Lemhannas Lieutenant General (Ret.) Agus Widjojo, Vice Governor of Lemhannas Marshal TNI Bagus Puruhito, S.E., M.M, Chairman of the President University Foundation and also former Governor of Lemhannas Prof. Budi Susilo Soepandji, Chairman of Jababeka S.D. Darmono, Vice-Principal of Glasgow University Prof. Frank Coton, International Chancellor at President University John Scott Younger, Secretary of the President University Foundation Syonanto, Vice Rector for Partnerships at President University Handa S. Abidin, Deputy of Strategic Review of Lemhannas Prof. Dr. Djagal Wiseso Marseno, M. Agr. and many others.

President Executive Club was established in Jakarta in 2009 by 11 founders, namely S.D. Darmono, Arifin Panigoro, Boenjamin Setiawan, Ciputra, Eddie Lembong, Joe Kamdani, Juwono Sudarsono, Mochtar Riady, TP Rachmat, Trihatma K. Haliman, Sukamdani Gitosardjono, Jacob Oetama, and Edward Lee (Former Singapore’s Ambassador for Indonesia), witnessed by then Vice President Boediono.

The vision of the President Executive Club is to be the best organization for Academics, Entrepreneurs, and Government to support the government’s vision and mission to bring Indonesian citizens into a just and prosperous nation.

The mission of the President Executive Club is to become the basis of informal, non-political, and non-participant networks to find the right solutions for the economic problems faced by the government.
