CIKARANG, presidentpost.com – The joint venture apartment project of PT Grahabuana Cikarang and Creed Group, Kawana Golf Residence, received a positive response from the consumers with 90% sold in the first phase.
President Director of PT Grahabuana Cikarang, Sutedja S Darmono said the Kawana Golf Residence is a service apartment targeting the expatriates in Cikarang and surrounding areas. The project consists of one tower of 234 units with selling prices range from Rp1 billion.
“Together with our Japanese partner, we will collaborate in managing and bringing in the apartment tenants as part of our services to the consumers,” Sutedja said in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/28).
According to Sutedja, the potential of this project is supported by the existence of 10,000 expatriates working in the Kota Jababeka area. Thus, the project offers a considerable yield value.
“The conservative figure is about 10 percent per year. Besides, the rental price of the existing apartment in the Cikarang region can reach US$2,000 per month on average,” he added.
Meanwhile, General Manager Corporate Marketing of PT Grahabuana Cikarang, Handoyo Lim, said in the first stage sales of the Kawana Golf Residence, 90% have been taken by the consumers.
“We are optimistic that the units offered for the first phase will be sold out, considering we will hold another event with the investors early next month to see the investment and business prospects in the Kota Jababeka,” Handoyo said.
The construction of the apartment, he further said, according to the plan will begin in the mid of 2018. “The handover of units to the consumers will be done by the end of 2020,” Handoyo added. (IND/TPP)
