President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) today opened the Limited CabinetMeeting of the National Economic Committee (KEN) at Tampaksiring Presidential Palace in Gianyar, Bali.
The closed meeting was attended by several ministers, ministerial-level officials and other expert staff.
In his opening speech, the President stressed that the essence of development is to improve the standard of living. Yudhoyono also explained that the current trend of economic growth to positive growth.
Nevertheless, the President reminded that there are many development programs have to do. This requires systematic policies and plans to streamline development in the midst of an unpredictable world.
eanwhile, Yudhoyono warned that the direction of development as far as may be directed to alleviating poverty. It’s a noble goal to be achieved with the right direction,including managerial development is also true.
After opening, the meetings are held in private, where the Chairman KEN, Chairul Tandjung directly describe the development of Indonesia.
