The biggest player in Russian oil and gas field services, Borets Company LLC, has entered Indonesian market with PT Petrosa Global Energy to work on Duri oil field, Riau which is also operated by PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI).
Alexander Filippov, Executive Vice-President Services Borets, said its readiness to engage in optimization project at the old well field located in Riau with Schlumberger and Baker Hughes from the United States.
According to Rosa Richir, CEO of PT Petrosa Global Energy, Borets has secured a contract to work on at least 300 point wells in Duri, Riau with technology Electric Submersible Pump (ESP). The project is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2013.
“So far we see Borets has committed to this project. Until now Borets continues to analyze the condition of thes old wells which became their first project in Indonesia, “he said.
